Nothing is more memorable than a beautiful, bright smile. Unfortunately, the wear and tear caused by nicotine, age, and medication can work against our efforts to keep our smiles healthy and bright. Thankfully, this damage can be reversed in one short hour at our office with Rembrandt® Lightening Gel.
Rembrandt® has been proven to whiten teeth an amazing average of 10 shades in an hour. This safe and effective one-hour treatment is completed in our office and does not involve wearing cumbersome, uncomfortable at-home whitening trays. As the whitening system does its work, you can rest, read, or listen to music. Before you know it, you are leaving our office with a brighter, whiter smile.

Dental crowns (also known as ‘caps’) are tooth restorations that are cemented over the entire structure of the tooth. Crowns are used to improve the cosmetic appearance of broken, chipped teeth, or teeth that have been seriously worn down due to decay. Dental crowns enhance aesthetics, increase strength, and add support to otherwise visibly damaged teeth. Dr. Morris uses her unique expertise as a skilled dentist to carefully customize each crown to complement the color, shape, and size of the surrounding teeth for a natural looking, aesthetically pleasing result.
The procedure usually takes two to three visits. During the initial visit, an impression is made of your teeth and sent to the lab for preparation. Your teeth are then prepared for the fitting. At this time, you may be given a temporary crown. Once your permanent crown returns from the lab (usually within two to three weeks) your new crown will be permanently cemented into place. Crowns can be made of porcelain, ceramic, resin, or gold. Dr. Morris will take the time to discuss all of the options available to you and assist you in making the most appropriate choice for your situation.
Inlays and onlays, also known as “indirect fillings,” are used when more than half of a tooth is lost from decay and the tooth cannot support a traditional filling. Unlike traditional fillings that are molded into the tooth by the dentist and harden over time, indirect fillings are crafted in a lab and then cemented into the damaged area. An inlay is placed inside the cusp of the tooth whereas an onlay is placed inside the tooth as well as on part of the outer cusp area. Inlays and onlays can be made from gold, porcelain, or composite resin material.
While traditional fillings can reduce the strength of your teeth, inlays and onlays actually strengthen them. You can rest assured that Dr. Morris will accurately assess which procedure will work best for you.
Dental bonding can dramatically improve the appearance of stained, chipped, cracked or gapped teeth. Results can last up to 11 years as opposed to traditional fillings, which last up to seven years.
During dental bonding, layers of composite resin are placed onto the teeth, molded into the desired shape, and then bonded using a high-intensity light. Composites can easily be matched to the natural color of your teeth, thus the aesthetic value of dental bonding is extremely high. Also, dental bonding preserves much of the structural integrity of the natural tooth, as opposed to other procedures that require the support of healthy neighboring teeth.
Do you have chipped, cracked or misshapen teeth? Contact us today. Dr. Morris will determine if you are a good candidate for dental bonding.
Dental implants have become a popular alternative to bridges and dentures. Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically implanted into the jawbone to serve much the same function as the roots of your natural teeth. After an oral surgeon or periodontist has surgically placed the dental implants and the implants have assimilated into the jawbone, prosthetic teeth are prepared and attached to the implants to create the closest possible simulation of natural teeth currently available.
Once you are fully healed from the implant surgery, our facility can provide a number of restorative options. From restoration of a single tooth to replacement of an entire set of teeth, dental implants can provide an exceptional alternative to dentures. Implants can also be used to support a complete set of dentures.
